Dr. Brett Vassallo
Dr. Brett Vassallo FACOG, FACS
Originally from the Northeast, Dr. Vassallo obtained his BA in English Literature at Georgetown University. He then graduated from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and remained at the University of Chicago Hospitals for his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency. He then completed a 3 year fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital/University of Cincinnati. After fellowship, he returned to the University of Chicago as a faculty member where he practiced for several years prior to being recruited to join Illinois Urogynecology, LTD.
He has published extensively on outcomes from incontinence and pelvic reconstructive surgery in addition to writing several book chapters in leading urogynecology textbooks- both in the United States and abroad. He is currently a clinical assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a lecturer at Rosalind Franklin University.
Dr. Vassallo provides clinical and surgical services at Lutheran General Hospital, NorthShore University Health System, and at Northwest Community Hospital. In addition, to maintaining a busy clinical practice, D. Vassallo loves cooking, traveling, and spending time with his wife and 3 children.
Dr. Vassallo sees patients at our Park Ridge and Arlington Heights offices.
